Cheap hotel and it shows
Price. Cheap & close to airport. The manager was sweet and helpful, but she spoke no English. We would have been in big trouble, but thankfully my friends had been born in Viet Nam so they spoke the language. She called cabs for us and did other nice things. We were all disappointed in the facility, but not with her. It was a last minute booking, due to a mix-up in plans, so I guess beggars can't be choosers. At least the bed was firm, the way I like it. And, I found no vermin.
Bathroom floor was always wet, as there were two leaks. One at the toilet and the other at discharge of sink. The missing towels and toilet paper were provided the next morning when I asked for them. There was supposed to be a hot pot for boiling water in each room, but they were non-existent. For other bookers: beware that the "Honeymoon Hotel" in HCMC is actually a group of hotels at various locations in HCMC. We got the one that they gave us & I still don't know the hotel's real name. So if there are mixed reviews of this property, that could be the explanation.
